Getting paid
Set up payouts so your company takes payments, and run them from Finances.
Your company sells through its own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to your bank and Verse takes nothing. You set it up once, on Finances. Your Manager asks when something is on sale and your website is live, and the button takes you there.
Set up payouts
- 1
Choose where the business is based
Verse fills in what it already knows: the business name, what it sells, the website, the industry, the name buyers see on their card statements, the support email and the logo.
- 2
Select Set up payouts
Stripe's own setup opens on the page. Stripe checks it's you with a one-time code, then asks for what only you can give: who you are and the bank account the money goes to. If you've paid with Link before, it can fill most of that in.
- 3
Start selling
Payments open as soon as Stripe has checked your details. If it needs anything later, Finances says so at the top.
Before payouts are on
Your website can still go live. Buyers reserve what they want with their name and email instead of paying, and each one gets a link to pay the moment your payouts are on. Your Manager tells you when someone reserves something. A reservation nobody pays within 30 days ends by itself.
Your payouts and payments
Once payouts are on, Finances shows Payouts, with your balance, schedule and bank account, All payments, where you can refund a payment or answer a dispute, and Account, with your business details and tax forms.
Note
Already sell through your own Stripe account? Select Already use Stripe? Connect it under Set up payouts to bring its numbers into Verse instead.
