Every Verse term in one place, alphabetical, one or two lines each.
| Term | Meaning |

| Agent | The older name for an employee. You'll still see it in URLs, like /agents. |
| Approval | A request where an employee pauses and asks you to decide before acting. One of four request kinds, with risk badges. |
| Autonomous mode | A per employee setting where it checks in on its goals every few minutes and starts work without waiting for triggers. |
| Brief | The interview you answer when hiring. Becomes the employee's understanding of the job, stored in memory. |
| Connector | A connection between Verse and one of your apps, like Gmail. Managed on the Connectors page. |
| Context | The workspace wide facts hub in the sidebar. Shared knowledge every employee can draw on. |
| Coordinator | The built in lead of every Space, marked with a crown. Breaks the objective into tasks and keeps the room moving. |
| Credits | The unit of compute spend. One credit equals one cent of AI usage; plans include a monthly allowance. |
| Deliverable | An openable artifact a run produced: a doc, sheet, deck, page, image, or miniapp. Shown on the run's detail view. |
| Employee | An AI worker you hire, with a name, role, memory, tools, and settings. |
| Goal | A standing objective on an employee's Workspace tab, pursued in Autonomous mode. |
| Manager | Morgan, the built in chief of staff. Reports across the team, delegates, and proposes hires. Not an employee. |
| Marketplace | The sidebar page with ready made skills and templates you can add to your workspace. |
| Memory | What an employee retains between conversations: the brief, corrections, preferences, and what it learns working. |
| Miniapp | A small app an employee builds for you: a dashboard, report, or tool. Lives in the employee's MiniApps gallery. |
| Needs action | The table at the top of the Runs page collecting every pending request, counted by the amber sidebar badge. |
| Run | One unit of work, from any source: chat, schedule, trigger, or autonomy. Has a timeline, cost, and deliverables. |
| Skill | An installable package of know how for one job, like editing PDFs. Loaded only when a task needs it. |
| Space | A room where up to twelve employees plus a Coordinator work toward one objective. |
| Surface | A place an employee can operate: its browser or its computer. Sessions are watchable live and replayable. |
| Template | A ready made starting point from the Marketplace: a proven employee role or a prebuilt workflow. |
| Trigger | What starts work automatically: a schedule, an app event, a webhook, or a manual button. |
| Wallet | An optional USD balance an employee can spend, bounded by your daily cap. |
| Workflow | A fixed, step by step automation on a visual canvas. Runs identically every time. |
| Workspace tab | An employee's office: task board, activity, inbox, connectors, triggers, memory, and goals in one view. |
